After nourishment, shelter, and companionships… stories are the things we need most in the world. Poetry and wine, interchangeably are the perfect balance between pleasure and structure. During the pandemic, especially, our nervous systems have been on overdrive. Causing a heightened stress response almost 24/7. Which means that our brains are constantly ruminating on the past or worrying about the future. This is the perfect introduction to mindfulness. To stop and center yourself, breathe deeply, observe body and emotions, then take an intentional sip. HOMEtainer and qualified naturopath, Natalie personally remembers nights growing up where family would gather, sipping wine, reciting lines of life changing texts (specifically In Rumi or Kalin Gabrin) & many stories. This brought, connection, humility and joy. All the things we long for… Natalie researches and curates a selection of organic and natural wines from small producers (natural wines are low in preservatives with limited chemical or mechanical intervention and more akin to biodynamic lunar farming methods. As a nutritionist Natalie also chooses wines that are low in suga. A lot of people at first, don't enjoy the taste of natural wine as they sometimes are more cloudy or fizzy, though once you experience how to drink and appreciate the wine, you'll engage in a completely new experience and you can deepen your appreciation and healthy relationship with wine. Once you've confirmed your event with Natalie, she will set a theme for you to suggest to your guests to bring a prose that has transformed them over time (be it a poem, short story, letter or lyrics). This will enhance your mindfullness and reflective experience. There are no expectaions, no pressure - just come open for an adventure.
